How to Play Lightning Lotto
Lightning Lotto is a fast-paced lottery game with a special multiplier feature that sets it apart from other types of lotteries. New draws take place every minute and as you play, a game host is entertaining all participants who can actively speak with the host via a chat.
On each game round, you can purchase anything from 1 to 500 lottery tickets and decide the price of these yourself within a range of ₹1 – ₹5,000. The more money you stake, the more money you are able to win.
It is not possible to pick your lucky numbers yourself, but these will be randomly selected for you. They are six in total and consist of five normal numbers out of a pool of 25, as well as a sixth powerball number out of a pool of 10.
In order to win, you must match either 3, 4, 5, or all 6 numbers.
The Multiplier Feature
Before each draw takes place, one or two ‘lightning numbers’ will be randomly selected and showcased on a TV screen. For each of these numbers that are present on your lottery ticket, a win multiplier ranging from x2 – x10 will be added which will increase the payouts for that ticket.
For instance, if your ticket consists of the numbers 5, 10, 12, 18, and 22, and 22 is selected as a ‘lightning number’, any prizes won from this ticket will be increased. By how much is randomly decided. At the very least the prizes will be doubled and in the best-case scenario, they will be ten-folded.
Now, if your ticket matches two ‘lightning numbers’ as opposed to just one, it has the potential to have its payouts boosted by up to 20 times.
The Draw
The draw in Lightning Lotto is very fast in order to enable new game rounds every minute. Two ‘lightning numbers’ will first be selected via a random number generator. Right after, five numbered balls will be pulled from one lottery machine, followed by a sixth number being pulled from another machine.
Payouts and Prize Structure
Without taking the game’s multiplier feature into account, the payouts in Lightning Lotto are as follows:

These payouts are illustrated as a multiplier to your stake. For instance, if you purchased a lottery ticket at the minimum stake of ₹1 and you matched all six numbers with this, you would win ₹5,000 (1 * 5,000). On the other hand, if you managed to match all six numbers with a stake of ₹20, the payout would be ₹1 lakh.
Now, when we add Lightning Lotto’s special multiplier feature to the equation, the payouts get a lot higher. The maximum multiplier one can achieve is x20, which means that the maximum possible prizes in the game are as follows:

In other words, if you stake ₹1 and manage to match all six numbers and also are lucky enough to match two ‘lightning numbers’ that result in an x20 multiplier, you would win ₹1 lakh. Consequently, you would win ₹20 lakh if you staked ₹20.
There is a maximum win cap in the game though which is set to ₹5 crore. This means that if you stake ₹1,000 and win the jackpot prize of 100,000x, you would not get paid the ₹10 crore this would result in, but only receive ₹5 crore.
